Interpersonal & Leadership Development

Your goals aren’t the problem.

You know what you want. What’s in the way is how you relate to yourself — your patterns, your defaults, the identity you keep leading from. That’s what we work on.

It’s hard to be successful if you relate to yourself as unsuccessful. The pattern runs deeper than the goal.

The Foundation

The pattern
is the
obstacle.

I

Patterns Run the Show

Most leaders aren’t blocked by lack of knowledge or strategy. They’re blocked by how they habitually think, react, and relate — to themselves and to others. Information doesn’t dissolve a pattern. A coaching relationship does.

II

Identity Precedes Results

It’s hard to build a fit body if you relate to yourself as someone who isn’t fit. It’s hard to lead with authority if you relate to yourself as someone who needs to prove themselves first. The self-concept is the strategy — change that, and the results follow.

III

Goals Need a Container

You can set a goal. You can build a plan. But if the person executing that plan carries old beliefs about what’s possible for them — the goal has no real container. We build the container first.

IV

The Coach Is the Intervention

You can’t see your own patterns from inside them. That’s not a weakness — it’s how patterns work. A skilled coach holds a different view of you than you hold of yourself, and that friction is where real development lives.

PCC · ICF Certified Executive Coach Documentary Filmmaker Author

I’ve spent two decades in rooms where people are trying to close the gap between what they’re capable of and what they’re actually producing. Teaching, finance, film — different arenas, same fundamental problem: smart, driven people held back by patterns they can barely see.

I don’t do motivational coaching. I do pattern work. We name what’s actually running your leadership — the defaults, the blind spots, the stories you’ve been operating from — and we replace them with something you’ve deliberately chosen. That’s when goals start to move.

My clients come in with real objectives — a promotion, a business inflection point, a leadership transition, a team that isn’t working. We go after those goals. We just also deal with what’s been quietly undermining them.

The
Programs

Every program is goal-oriented and pattern-aware. Pick the format that fits where you are.

What we
actually
do.

This isn’t consulting. It isn’t therapy. It’s a structured coaching relationship aimed at specific goals — with the added layer of dealing honestly with what’s been getting in the way.

We move fast. The early sessions are diagnostic — we identify the patterns, the beliefs, and the identity structures that are producing your current results. Then we build from there.

1

Name What’s Running

Before anything changes, we identify what’s actually driving your behavior. The patterns, the limiting beliefs, the identity structures you’ve never questioned because they’ve always just felt like you. That’s where we start.

2

Go After Real Goals

We’re goal-oriented. A new role, a business outcome, a leadership shift, a team that performs — whatever you came in to accomplish, we build a clear line toward it. Identity work in service of concrete results.

3

Disrupt the Pattern

You can’t interrupt a pattern from inside it. That’s what the coaching relationship provides — an outside perspective that holds a different view of what’s possible for you than the one your pattern sells. That friction is the work.

4

Build What Lasts

When the identity shifts, the behavior follows — and stays. We’re not installing new habits over old beliefs. We’re changing what you believe is true about yourself. That’s the version of change that doesn’t need maintenance.
